Bhopal Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today planted a sapling of Karanj in Smart City Park. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan plants saplings every day in fulfillment of his resolve. Karanj has amazing ability to grow in different conditions. Its trees mostly grow on the banks of rivers and streams. Karanj being densely shady, it is also planted along the roadsides. The flowers of Karanj have a pearl-like attraction. The Ayurvedic medicine describes many uses of the seeds and seed oil of Karanj.
